NPL MUST OBEY COURT ORDER - RAFUA PDF Print E-mail

Chairman of the electoral committee for elections into the board of Nigeria Premier League, Tony Rafua has denied knowledge that one of the chairmanship aspirants initially submitted then withdrew a forged secondary school certificate, which was sure to implicate him.

Rafua confirmed in an interview with brilafm.net that the election is on hold until the court case with Barrister Ray Nnaji is resolved and stated that there was no way any contestant would have been allowed to withdraw a document he had submitted for screening.

“I am only aware of a court order. We have to obey a court order and the election is on hold. I don’t think we want to hide anybody from wrongdoing.

“To the best of my knowledge, I don’t think there’s any withdrawal of a form,” he insisted.
