OKONKWO DETERMINED TO DO BETTER PDF Print E-mail

Eagles Team B defender, Chibuzor Okonkwo has shot a positive outlook into this weekend’s Sudan 2011, African Nations Championship qualifier against Niger Republic and promised to do his best.

The Bayelsa United defender revealed in a chat with brilafm.net that he intends to continue from where he stopped in Nigeria’s 5-2 victory against DR Congo, but said he will step up his game and give a better performance this weekend.

“I am happy with the year so far. Things started well for me. I feel happy when people tell me I did well, but I won’t let it get into my head.

“I need to buckle up and play even better. Especially for this match against Niger Republic, I just need to buckle up and play better,” the Beijing 2008 Olympics silver medalist admitted.
