As reactions follow deployment of Coach Amodu Shaibu to the home-based Eagles, former Flying Eagles handler, Tunde Disu insists the post should but a chance for the gaffer to take a look at the league and scout for players.
Disu posited in an interview with brilafm.net that the former BCC Lions of Gboko handler may still be appointed as Super Eagles assistant coach when the foreign technical adviser is finally named.
“The statement was clear but, indirectly, he has not seen anything good about the national league.
“The NFF said okay, let him go out there and go and scout the league for good players. So that, when it’s time, there is god preparation.
‘They are still contacting coaches. Who knows, whether they will make it back, whether they will be accepted, nobody knows, said Disu.
The acclaimed Damman Miracle Worker concluded by urging Amodu to approach officials at The Glasshouse for further clarification of his job prescription and terms of reference.
“It’s better for him to go to the NFF, let him see what is going on. It’s for him to see things for himself. The agent has been recommending and I know I am not alone in this line,” he expatiated.
