Nigeria Football Federation has set aside the 26th of this month for screening of six coaches short listed for the position of Super Eagles technical adviser.
Speaking in a dialogue with brilafm.net in Abuja, NFF president, Alhaji Sani Lulu Abdullahi’s special assistant, Tunde Aderibigbe disclosed that the tacticians will be in Nigeria to face a high-profile panel of renowned football technocrats.
“We are looking at several representatives; they are coming here to Nigeria. There will be a panel that will be raised.
“The management will meet very shortly to determine those that will be in the panel. But, I want to believe FIFA technical man, Onigbinde is being tipped and Dr Tijjani Yusuf is also being tipped,” he hinted.
The NFF on Friday named, Hassan Shehata, Bruno Metsu, Ratomir Dujkovic, Peter Taylor, Guss Hiddink and Louis Van Gaal as likely candidates to lead the Eagles to the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
This came after Shaibu Amodu was eased out of the senior national team front seat as a result of the public outcry that greeted his performance at the just concluded African Cup of Nations in Angola.
